My insecurities about my appearance

I learnt how to be deaf 

When I hear an insult

I learnt how to be numb

When someone hurts me 

I learnt how to avoid mirrors

Without really avoiding it

But you broke down those walls

And hit me twice as hard as normal

You didn't leave mercy for my dying soul

You planned out ways to break me down to pieces

You blindly tore me

Slowly and painfully

You put all those effort into waste

When you let me realize how imperfect I am
