The Hurricane

The sun shines on the other side of the road
Here I am stranded below the dull black moon
Soft whispers of the tree's branch cut through my skin, producing a scar
I screamed in pain but it was drowned by the loud rustling of the wind
I wished for someone to rescue me
But even that thought was swept away by the imminent hurricane
I desperately grabbed the roots of a laughing tree
It did nothing to save me from the hurricane
It was oblivious
I couldn't hold on anymore
I let go and was swept away by the demonic hurricane

So this is basically the first metaphoric poem I ever wrote. I don't think it's good enough but I hope you still understand it...

Hey there! I would be so happy to hear what you think about my blog. Or you can just talk to me, it would be a honor to talk to my blog audience!
