Father Figure

early in the morning

i'd rather hear compliments than insults

I wrote this when I was really angry with my father. We've been having arguments lately but mainly because of how I act. There would be moments where we would be super close and kept talking about basketball and we even watch games together. Just the two of us.
But there would be times where I try to be sarcastic and he would be angry. I'm never really the type where I would say sorry and kiss them and stuffs. Whenever I do something wrong, I'll just shut m mouth and let them get over my wrong deed. I'm not really into that touching stuff with my parents.

My dad can be fun and at the same time, annoying. But I'll try to do my best to understand him as my father. He grew up without a father figure and he basically has no one to do things we are doing now. So I need to understand that he is doing his best to be a proper father for my brother and I.
